Mohammad Reza Shah of  Iran

Mohammad Reza Shah ( king ) of Iran Date of Birth Date (October 26, 1919) died (July 27, 1980) the Shah of Iran in the period ( 1941-1979 ) .

Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was born in Tehran , the eldest son of Reza Khan , who ruled Iran in the period between (1925-1941) , has advocated Muhammad Shah and heir to the throne of Iran in 1926 . 

Received his primary and secondary education in Switzerland , and returned in 1935 to serve in the military academy in Tehran . He married the daughter of King Farouk I of Egypt in 1939 , and separated from her in 1949 and later married twice in 1950 and 1959.

In 1941 the fear of both the Soviet Union and Great Britain of cooperation Reza Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran with Nazi Germany , which pushed them to the occupation of a large part of Iran and coercion Reza Shah to relinquish his responsibilities and exiled outside the country , and called his son , Mohammad Reza to take the verdict.

Mohammad Reza Shah began a new era of governance, he had to face the chaos in politics and economics. And in 1949 survived an assassination attempt Inquirer.

However Come Vote popular anger , especially at the beginning of the seventies stressed Mohammed Shah of repressive policy , and pursued a policy of secrecy and brutality ( SAVAK ) to try to suppress internal conflicts . That policy sparked widespread riots in Irene , in 1978 has grown widespread support for the exiled religious leader Ruhollah Khomeini

On January 16, 1979 , Shah Pahlavi, fled out of the country , and recognizes the leadership of Khomeini . On November 4, 1979 from the same year, a group of Iranians attacked the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and held 52 U.S. citizens for 444 days, and demanded that the Shah return for the release of hostages held in the embassy and was released in January 20, 1981 . Remained outside the Shah of Iran died in Egypt on July 27, 1980 .

He married Shah Mohammad Reza several times the most famous is the marriage of Princess Fawzia, the sister of King Farouk - King of Egypt and Sudan

She married the Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in 1939.

And gave birth to their baby daughter of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the only Princess Shahinaz. Were divorced in 1945 in Cairo.
