Ahmadinejad: Iran "will not retreat one iota from its rights" in the nuclear field

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday, the eve of the resumption of negotiations between Tehran and the major powers about Iran's controversial nuclear Iran "will not retreat one iota from its nuclear rights."

Ahmadinejad said, in a speech in southern Iran, "You know that the Iranian nation will be firm in their fundamental rights, and that the greater the pressure will not make it back down," adding, "I advise all the enemies of Iran and Western powers to change their behavior rude about this nation."

The Iranian delegation chief negotiator Saeed Jalili announced yesterday, Wednesday, that his country would provide "new proposals, and hopes to adopt a constructive approach to the other side," which gave hopes that it may be Iran's initiative to move the negotiations.
