An earthquake measuring 6.4 magnitude hit the Moluccas in Indonesia

An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale corresponding to the beaches Indonesian Moluccas on Sunday, as reported by the American Seismological Center.

The center said the earthquake and its epicenter 169 km northwest of Ternate city occurred at around 11:05 pm local time at a depth of 69 km, was called a tsunami warning.

A Soeharjuno President Technical Meteorological Agency, weather, geology, physics in Indonesia that "so far we have not received information about what happened, but did not fire warning of a tsunami."

And official Sukarjan said in disaster management agency in Ternate, one of the Moluccas, there was no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

He added that "people were asleep and fled their homes when the earth started shaking, and earthquake lasted 20 seconds, but so far there were no reports of casualties or damage."
