Khamenei reaffirms Iran's refusal to categorically any foreign intervention in Syria

Said Ali Khamenei Supreme Leader of the Iranian revolution his country's rejection of any categorical foreign intervention in Syria.

The channel "Press TV" Iranian news tonight that Khamenei announced during a meeting today in the city of "scene" with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan - that Tehran will defend Syria, which supports - in his view - front resistance against the Zionist regime, stressing his country's opposition in all foreign power to interfere in the affairs of Syria.

Khamenei said that Iran supports the reform efforts currently underway in Syria and called for the need to maintain the momentum for the implementation of these reforms.

For his part, Erdogan called on to expand the scope of relations between Turkey and Iran, which are linked by long-term historical denominators.
