Up Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the Chinese capital Beijing, Monday, on an official visit aimed at strengthening trade and political ties between the two Alsaadtan, despite their differences on the crisis in Syria and the ethnic Uighurs in China.
This is the first visit by a Turkish prime minister since the twenty-seven years, and comes after a tour in February by Vice President Xi Jinping to Ankara and Istanbul, where the two countries which have signed agreements worth billions of dollars.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry, said that the first area where the stop Erdogan during his tour of the Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang, far western region of the country, on Sunday. Xinjiang is home to the Uighur in China, associated with ethnic Turks. Xinhua said that Turkey plans to build an industrial zone in Xinjiang.
It is scheduled to meet Erdogan, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao today, Monday, and President Hu Jintao tomorrow, Tuesday, is scheduled as well as heading to Shanghai, the country's financial center.
