Military helicopter crash north of Japan

Department of Defense announced the Japanese crash of a helicopter belonging to the Maritime Self-Defense Forces Day, Sunday, in the waters off the coast of the Gulf of Motso district located in Aomori, northern Japan.

The ministry said in a statement quoted by the BBC, Japanese Self-Defense Force Navy, Coast Guard managed to rescue 6 of the crew's 7 members, noting that there are people still missing, pointing out that the helicopter model "SH 60" crashed after takeoff from the base of "Ominaco" air, which fell into the waters of the Gulf.

She noted that the search and comb the area is still under way to search for the missing in the accident which is the only Maanaja Mashiko.
