Secretary of State has warned Pakistan, Rabbani Khar Hannah, that, in case of failure of the joint session of Parliament to reach a consensus on the issue of the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee for National Security, these recommendations will be passed by majority.
The Khar in her speech to the representatives of the media outside the parliament building on Tuesday, "The resolution, which takes through the majority is also issued by the Parliament, and the Government of Pakistan People's Party will not accept pressure from any party or group outside the parliament," pointing out that these parties are pressing does not have a mandate from the masses.
This warning comes at a time are now being held in Islamabad for high-level meeting with the Pakistan People's Party's ruling coalition partners, the federal government and provincial governments.
This meeting is chaired by Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, in conjunction with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and discussed many issues related to other national and foreign policy.
The party sources said that the discussions will touch also to discuss the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee for National Security, which was recently modified and reformulated on a new framework for relations with the United States and re-open the supply routes of NATO.
