Ihsanoglu: Turkish plane was shot down in international airspace

Said Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu today, Sunday, that the Turkish fighter that was shot down by Syrian air space in the international sphere and not in Syria, adding that the plane was on a training sortie without weapons and to test the radar system.

Davutoglu said the government NTV television network RTL, "according to our findings, our aircraft was shot down in international airspace on a distance of 13 nautical miles from Syria."
