The Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon that the North Korean missile launch, on Friday, pursuant to the "unfortunate" and a "violation" of the decision issued by the UN Security Council, and threatens regional stability.
Said Ban Ki-moon, said in a statement, "Despite the failed attempt to launch the satellite's alleged" by North Korea, but it is "an act of regrettable because it challenges the firm position of the international community," adding that "the process at all in direct violation of Resolution 1874 issued by the Council international Security, "which was adopted by the United Nations in 2009, and states that North Korea refrain from conducting any new nuclear test or launch of any ballistic missile technology is used.
He believed Ban Ki-moon said the launch was "threatening regional stability", and urged North Korea not to do "in any other provocative actions escalate tension in the region."
